Happy Monday and happy October to you; welcome back to a new Weekly Love post. I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend and are ready for this very autumnal week ahead. This week was a little bit hard to get into after our holiday the week before, and the Croatia-blues really kicked in after a very stressful few days, but the autumn sunshine has definitely put a smile on my face.
Here is everything I was loving last week.

This week, I took the plunge and re-joined the gym after a few months of not going. I usually work out at home or go for a run, but with working from home now, I felt as though it would be good for me to get out of the house to exercise and do some classes – so far, so good!
On Wednesday, I was down in London for some filming with work, which was so much fun. We had a new member start as well and it was great to have a full team lunch and see everyone again. The only not-so-fun part was that I was stranded at Euston for a couple of hours due to a signal failure – all peaks and troughs hey!
I had my friend Jacinta round on Thursday afternoon for a catch-up and to discuss something exciting that we have planned for the next few months. I always love catching up with her as we have been friends for years, and have really similar interests when it comes to the online world and she’s a real inspiration.
Now, I’m not the most sporty person, and I hadn’t even played tennis since school, but my friend Phil and I had been saying all summer that we should have a game as there are some courts opposite our house. We went for a game on Friday evening (wild child!) and it was so much fun and I regret not going whilst it was warmer.
On Saturday morning, I had a gloss treatment put on my hair at Reilly Denholm in Leigh, which I visited back in July. It feels a lot healthier and it’s a bit more of a darker brown which is perfect for autumn and winter.
I’ve been a member of We Blog North since the beginning but unfortunately didn’t get to go to the Northern Blog Awards last year as I was at a wedding so I’ve been looking forward to them since the start of the year. The night was incredible and I got to meet so many new people and catch up with so many of my favourite Northern bloggers – I already can’t wait until 2019!
I actually wasn’t feeling too bad on Sunday, considering I drank my fair share of wine and prosecco at the awards but decided to make no plans so we could have a duvet day, watching films and chilling on the sofa all day. We had a delicious Hello Fresh pasta for tea as well with walnuts and tomatoes.
This week I finally got round to doing my newsletter again for October. I took a couple of months off from the last one as it was a pretty hectic summerΒ and I didn’t want to send something out that I wasn’t 100% happy with. If you want to sign up, the link is here and I’d love you so super duper much if you did!
