Weekly Love #94

Happy Monday everyone, and welcome to my latest Weekly Love post. Can anyone quite believe that it’s almost November? I’ve already started listening to Christmas songs and making lists for what I can buy people.

I had quite a busy week with going away for a few days, but then a really chilled Sunday, which is just what I needed.

Here is everything else I was loving last week.

Instagram Polls

This week I’ve really been getting into doing polls on Instagram and trying to be more confident with talking to the camera (Instagram is eleanorgraceful if you fancy a follow). It all started with doing some research for a blog about people’s choices when it comes to their jobs, but then I threw in some silly ones too. I really enjoy getting to know my followers more and I hope that people feel as though they know me a little bit better too.

Amazon Haul

This week, I treated myself to 7 new books on Amazon! There were so many that I fancied and I kept looking at the ‘similar to these titles’ which is where I started to fall into the black hole. I can’t wait for them all to arrive!

1903 Lounge

I went on a little bit of a trip for a few days this week, and to start off the journey, my friend Africa and I were very kindly treated to the experience lounge at Manchester Airport called 1903. We were there for just under an hour and took full advantage of the unlimited food and soft drinks (it was 5am…) but it was definitely a great way to start the trip and I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Riga

I spent two days in Riga, the Latvian capital, this week, and I’ll be writing up all my tips and tricks for a trip there in the next couple of weeks. I’d never really thought about visiting Latvia, but we had such a brilliant time and the locals were so lovely.

Tallinn

Whilst on our adventure, we took a day trip to Tallinn in Estonia as I’d heard such great things about it from a couple of friends who had visited. We went by Lux coach which was the quickest and cheapest option, and it was so comfortable and even had chargers!

Extra Hour

After getting back quite late on Saturday night, I was so relieved to have an extra hour in bed on Sunday morning. Latvia and Estonia were two hours ahead, so by the time I got to bed, it was about 3am to my body, so I definitely needed as much sleep as I could get.

Chilled Sunday

There is nothing I love more than having a chilled Sunday to set me up for the week ahead, and that is exactly what I did. I had a lot of life admin to finish up and it felt good to get on top of things before the week came to a close.

Wedding Update

As Africa stayed at ours on Saturday night, she was able to try on a potential bridesmaid dress which had arrived whilst we were away. I’ve been keeping an eye out for ages for styles that I like and that I think will think my two bridesmaids. Also, I’ve had a couple of quotes from potential wedding florists which is also really exciting!
