Happy Monday everyone, and welcome back to another Weekly Love post. This week I’ve really been embracing autumn with a couple of walks outdoors and enjoying the sunshine coming through the shutters in my office in the morning. I really enjoy autumn and the changing of the colours of the leaves.
Here is everything I was loving last week.

On Monday, I joined some of my favourite blogging girls and headed to the Trinny London launch at Sunset in Manchester. We got to meet the lovely Trinny (from Trinny and Susannah if you remember the programme…) and she was hilarious. There were some lovely products from the range and we left with a gorgeous highlighter which I can’t wait to try.
This week I’ve been making the most of having a week at home and taking some lunchtime walks around our local park in the sunshine. One of my favourite things to do is to listen to podcasts and aimlessly wander for my lunch break and this week has been the perfect time to do just that.
On Wednesday evening, Jordan and I tried a new wood-fired pizza place for dinner which we’d driven past a couple of times but never been to and it definitely was worth the visit. It was called Dough Project in Sale and both of the pizzas we chose were amazing – one to go back to soon.
One of the things I’ve found with working from home is that you can be in the house for most of the week without really speaking to anyone else except your other half. On Friday I made it my mission to go for lunch with some of the girls I used to work with and we had so much to catch up on.
If you know me or have been reading this for a while, you’ll know that my favourite meal of the week is brunch. Jordan and I were going to go out on Saturday with some food, but I had an eye test early in the morning and decided to pick up some bits to make it at home. We had toasted sourdough with avocado, scrambled eggs and feta and it was delicious.
It was my best friend Phil’s birthday on Saturday so a few of us went into Altrincham for a few drinks at a couple of different bars. My friends are so important to me and it always puts a smile on my face to see them.
On Sunday, Jordan and I went to his parents to spend the afternoon drinking tea and looking through some old photos. We got to catch up about their recent holidays, the wedding and plans for Christmas. It was a very relaxed afternoon and reminded me how lucky I am to have (future) in-laws that I get on so well with.
Speaking of weddings, Jordan and I went to a service at our wedding chapel on Sunday afternoon and it was lovely to see it as the sun was setting behind it. I can’t believe how quickly the day is coming around and how much we still need to decide on.
