Happy Monday everyone! Where did that last week go?
I hope you all had a lovely weekend in the autumn sunshine and are ready for the week ahead. I have a bit of a crazy busy one, so I’m already looking forward to Friday, but hey ho, I’m not one to complain!
Here is everything I was loving last week.

I started last week in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, which I mentioned in last week’s post. Lily and I checked out of our hotel and went for a wander to get breakfast before we had to head to the airport. I’m really excited to share my Copenhagen post with you with all my recommendations, so watch this space.
I bought Emma Gannon’s 2nd book, The Multi-Hyphen Method this week, and I’ve already read about half of it. It’s all about how people are making money through more than one income stream, and very few of us have only one job title anymore. If you’re interested in the business side of having a side hustle, I would definitely recommend giving it a read.
When I’m down in London for work, I always try and walk everywhere I can, as the tube at rush hour isn’t really my thing, and I find it really peaceful to be alone with my thoughts in such a busy city. When I was down this week, I met up with my friend Louise and walked to her office from mine, which was about a 40-minute walk, and it was lovely to switch off for that time and watch everyone around me.
I took myself for a bike ride on Wednesday evening as it was such a gorgeous autumnal night and I wanted to get out of the house whilst it was still warm. I’m really getting into an evening bike ride, and it’s a great way to switch off.
On Saturday, I went to Oktoberfest in Manchester with a few friends for their annual beer festival. We went last year but this year it was much bigger, and we had such a good time. And if any of you saw my insta-stories, I can only apologise for the drunken singing to Wonderwall… not my finest hour!
After the beer festival, a few of us went to El Taquero in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, which I had wanted to go to for a while as Mexican is one of my favourites. I went for the shrimp tacos and a frozen margarita and I’m already finding another date to go with Jordan as it was so yummy.
On Sunday, I wasn’t feeling my best, but I felt better after I had been out with a few friends for lunch at The Bubble Room in Alderley Edge. My friend Sophie and I shared mussels, halloumi skewers and a camembert, and it was all lovely. Sundays are always my favourite for catching up with friends too!
This week I edited a couple of travel vlogs, which you can find on my YouTube channel. I pulled together some clips from my holiday to Dubai and my recent trip to Copenhagen. I’d love it if you would give them a watch and tell me what you think – and subscribe of course 🙂
