Weekly Love #78

July 9, 2018

Happy Monday everyone! Hasn’t the weather been so spectacular this week? It’s put me in the best mood and I really hope it continues!

As you read this, I’m actually on holiday in Sardinia with my friend Emily as she won’t be able to come to my hen do next year as she’s off travelling in September, so we thought it would be a good idea to have a little break just the two of us before she goes.

Here’s everything I was loving last week.

Heatwave

I’m going to do the really British thing and talk about the weather again, but it really has put me in the best mood possible, and even been stuck at work during it hasn’t fazed me as we’ve been out for walks every day and everyone is in such good spirits.

England Match

I won’t break into a rendition of ‘It’s coming home’ just yet, but I have totally been swept up this week with the two England matches, and I already can’t wait to see what happens on Wednesday. I’ve also really enjoyed the fact that the whole country has come together to support our team.

Nails

I’ve wanted white nails for ages, but every time I go to the salon they’re all out from doing French manicures, but this week when I went, they had enough for me. I think white nails look really cool and they go with everything, which is great if you’re like me and have clothes in a multitude of colours!

Family Time

This week, my auntie has been over from America, so on Wednesday evening, we went over to a pub in Lymm to have dinner with her, my Mum and my Nan. It was really nice to catch up with her and let her know all of the wedding plans that we’ve done so far and the weather was so nice that we sat in the beer garden too.

Lunch With The Girls

On Thursday lunchtime, a group of us decided to go and have lunch at a local pub around the corner from work because the weather meant that it was a good chance to get out of the office. It’s always nice to go out for lunch and we’re really lucky that we work quite close to a lot of nice places.

One Mile Bakery

On Saturday morning, I was very kindly invited to the ‘Introduction to bread making’ class with One Mile Bakery in Hale with the lovely Keeley from Phat Cupcake. We were taught how to make three loaves and it was really lovely to do something different on a Saturday. Our house smells amazing too, and I’ve totally been inspired to give it a go at home. Full review coming soon!

BBQ

After making bread and watching England, my friend Emily and her husband had us r0und to there house for a BBQ with her parents and some friends. We had lots of fish and veggie options which was perfect for me, and it was a great way to spend the evening in the garden.

Sunday Morning Walk

As the weekend had been one of indulging in a lot of food (especially freshly baked bread) Jordan and I decided to have a walk up to Chorlton Water Park on Sunday morning to dust away some of the cobwebs. It’s always a lovely way to start the day.

What did you get up to last week?
