Weekly Love #61

Happy Monday everyone – I hope you had a lovely weekend.

These weeks seem to be whizzing by, but it’s finally starting to feel like spring is on the way which I’m really excited about! I can’t wait to be sitting in a beer garden with a fruity cider and making memories with my favourite people.

Here’s everything I was loving last week!

Hot Cross Buns

Does anyone else remember the hot cross buns song you used to have to play on the recorder in primary school? Hopefully not just me! Tangent aside, this week started with one of my friends from work offering me a hot cross bun for breakfast. I have a real sweet tooth, so anything sugary I can have first thing in the morning, I love – and this one set me up for the week ahead.

On Wednesday, I uploaded my ‘Where to stay in Bath’ blog, and it really made me smile to look through all of the photos again. It was such a beautiful place and IĀ can’t wait to organise another trip there hopefully this year!

Sushi Lunch

My team have been talking about doing a sushi delivery for lunch for as long as I can remember, and this week my Tuesday was made much better by having a prawn katsu curry and chilli squid to break the day up. The only downside is now we know how good it is, we’ll want it all the time!

Begin Big Talks

If you guys aren’t aware of what I do for my full-time job, I work for a Student Accommodation brand, and on Thursday and Friday this week, I was helping out at two of our events for a marketing campaign, which meant that I got to see a talk from Brian Cox in Manchester and also from Adidas, Sophia Rosemary and my favourite girl, Jacinta Dawn in York. I was really honoured to be a part of these amazing activities and hearing the student’s feedback has been great.

The Botanist

On Saturday evening, I met up with Jacinta again to try the new vegan menu at The Botanist in Manchester. This is the third time I’ve worked with them on a blog post, and once again the food didn’t disappoint. I’d never been to this restaurant before, and it was lovely to catch up with Jacinta away from the work event.

Seeing The Venue

You might think that I go to see our wedding venue quite a lot (I’ll admit that I really make an excuse to go!) but this Saturday I had a meeting with the venue dresser in order to talk about what we’re after for our big day. It was really lovely to go again, and it was done up for someone’s big day that was taking place that afternoon – they gave us some definite style-inspo!

The National Wedding Show

I was very kindly invited to the National Wedding Show at Event City which took place last weekend, so Jordan and I went with his Mum on Sunday. The show was one of the best I’ve been to so far, and I came away with loads of ideas and supplier’s information. I’m going to be so sad when I don’t have a wedding to organise next year!

What have you loved this week?
