Home Updates With The One And Only Desenio // Ad

If there is one thing I love, as the millennial that I am, it’s switching up my home interior a few times a year, and with being stuck indoors for most of the last 12 months, that seems to have happened now more than ever!

As we’re moving house next month, I saw that as a chance to start fresh, with new colours, gallery walls and a fresh space to work with. And when Desenio asked if I wanted to collaborate again on a post with them I jumped at the chance, as they are my go-to brand for wall art.

The thing I found the trickiest with moving house is that I’m not 100% sure where our furniture is going to go yet, so I wanted to get prints that I could use in a number of different rooms, that I hoped would work for the different spaces we have. The house we’re moving to is a bit taller, but the rooms themselves are probably similar to what we’re used to, and to begin with, we’re going to paint it white and start fresh with a blank canvas.

If you know me, you’ll know that I’m a lover of travel, so not being able to go abroad over the last year has been a real struggle. I love prints that are related to travel and escapism, which is a theme that I went with on my latest cohort. Two of my favourite pieces were this Moroccan-inspired pool picture and Italian sunset.

I also chose pieces that reminded me of two of my favourite places I’ve visited over the years – New York and Amsterdam. Both of these places hold a special place in my heart and remind me of trips that have been some of my most memorable.
